Dr. James J. Duderstadt is President Emeritus and University Professor of Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan. A graduate of Yale and Caltech, Dr. Duderstadt’s interests include nuclear science, applied physics, computer simulation, science policy, and higher education. He currently teaches science and technology policy at Michigan while chairing the National Academies Division on Policy and Global Affairs and directing the Millennium Project, a research center concerned with the impact of over-the-horizon technologies on society.
