Abhishek Raman

Abhishek Raman is a Program Officer for American Institutions, Society, and the Public Good at the American Academy of Arts & Sciences. In this role, he works on the implementation of Our Common Purpose recommendations focused on media, political culture, and civic infrastructure.

Abhishek's professional career has focused on strengthening democratic processes and institutions and ensuring historically excluded communities have meaningful influence in our democracy. Prior to joining the Academy, he was a Project Manager at the Democratic Knowledge Project at Harvard University. He holds a Master of Divinity from Harvard University.
