Doreen Horschig is the Raymond Frankel Nuclear Security Policy Fellow. Before joining the Academy, she was a Stanton Nuclear Security Postdoctoral Fellow at MIT’s Security Studies Program. Doreen's research focuses on the conditionality of the chemical and nuclear weapons norms and nuclear counter-proliferation. Her work has been published as scholarly articles in Third World Quarterly, the Journal of Global Security Studies, and Defense and Security Analysis and as political commentaries, including in War on the Rocks, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, and The Conversation. Doreen holds a PhD in security studies from the University of Central Florida, a M.A. in international relations from New York University, and a B.A. in international studies from Manhattan College.
