Kathleen Torgesen is the Program Coordinator for the Science, Engineering, and Technology and Global Security and International Affairs programs. In her role, she is responsible for coordinating the activities for multiple projects, such as Rethinking the Humanitarian Health Response to Violent Conflict.
Kathleen graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Public Health and a minor in International Development. She was awarded the Ballard Scholar for her active work in social impact. As a student, she was a research assistant at BYU’s McKay School of Education, she researched, designed and evaluated professional development training materials for math educators who teach returning American-Mexican children in Morelos, Mexico.
