Idaho Campus Choice

Program Description:  

Idaho Campus Choice is a statewide direct admission program that streamlines the college admissions process for all graduating seniors within the state. As part of the state’s larger college and career access initiatives, Idaho Campus Choice notifies students which Idaho schools they are pre-admitted to before they even submit an application. There are currently eight public colleges and universities within the state participating. For students to benefit from their pre-admission offer, they must complete and Apply Idaho application, selecting the schools on their Idaho Campus Choice letter. Students can still apply to schools not listed on their letter, but they will not be guaranteed admission. 

Idaho Campus Choice is determined by students’ GPA and ISAT scores, and they must complete Idaho’s graduation requirements prior to enrolling in the college or university of their choice. Students with an unweighted GPA of at least 3.0 or an ISAT Math and ELA/Literacy level of at least 3 at the end of their junior year are pre-admitted to all eight colleges. Idaho Campus Choice also facilitates automatic placement into college English and math courses based on strong ISAT, ACT, or SAT scores. Students with lower scores or GPAs can still be pre-admitted to six or four schools.

Impact:  

Under the Idaho Campus Choice program, every Idaho high school graduating senior is guaranteed acceptance to a state-funded college in Idaho, no matter the student’s path.

Population Served:  

Any graduating high school student in the state of Idaho will automatically receive their pre-admission status from the Idaho Campus Choice program.
