Identified in the Flora Batava as the Long rough-headed poppy, though more commonly known as the Long pricklyheaded poppy. It has many names, also identifed as Roemeria argemone, and also commonly known as the pale or prickly poppy.

Brown knapweed, given the alternate name of Matfellon in the Flora Batava, a name by which the plant is less commonly known now.

Given the common name of Pansy or heart's ease in the Flora Batava, it also is known as the Wild pansy, Johnny jump-up, Love-in-idleness, and many more.

While the Flora Batava gives the English name as the Male-handed orchis, it is most commonly known as the Marsh orchid. Dactylorhiza majalis) is the taxonomy most widely recognized now.

While given the taxonomy Asplenium ruta muraria, or Wall rue, it is identified in the Flora Batava as a White maidenhair. It could therefore be intended to be an illustration of Adiantum pedatum.
