House of the Academy
The Academy’s current headquarters (established 200 years after the organization’s founding) were made possible through the vision and generosity of Edwin Land. (Learn about prior locations here.)
The “House of the Academy” was designed by the architectural firm Kallmann McKinnell & Wood and incorporates many metaphors, borrowing elements from ancient Greek cities, Renaissance Tuscan villas, and the twentieth-century American and British Arts and Crafts style.
