Adam Ambrogi

Adam Ambrogi is Chief of External Affairs and Strategic Partnerships at the League of Women Voters of the United States, working on strategy, growth, thought leadership, and partnerships. Previously, he directed the Elections and Voting Program at the Democracy Fund, where he led strategy, grantmaking, and advocacy, granting millions of dollars to support voting rights and trusted, voter-centric elections. He has held senior legal and policy roles across the federal government, including as Chief Counsel for the U.S. Senate Committee on Rules and Administration, leading work on election law, campaign finance, Senate rules, and ethical matters. His key contributions included leading the legal team on Senate rule changes and working on significant legislation such as the Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment Act and the DISCLOSE Act of 2012. He recently served as a Visiting Fellow at the SNF Agora Institute at Johns Hopkins University, where he taught undergraduates on using election law and policy disputes as a lens to assess how to craft social impact campaigns.
