A’Lelia Bundles is an author and journalist who loves history as much as she loves current events. After a 30-year career as a producer and executive with ABC News and NBC News, she has written four biographies of her great-great-grandmother, Madam C. J. Walker, the early 20th century entrepreneur, and A’Lelia Walker, a central figure of the Harlem Renaissance. Among the non-profit boards on which she serves are the National Archives Foundation, Columbia University’s Board of Trustees and the Radcliffe Institute’s Schlesinger Library at Harvard. She is brand historian for Sundial Brands's Madam C. J. Walker Beauty Culture line of hair care products.
