Alex Parker-Guerrero is the Morton L. Mandel Presidential Fellow. In this role, he contributes to strategic efforts to help raise the visibility and profile of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences.
Alex earned his undergraduate degree in American studies from Occidental College and recently earned a Master’s in Public Humanities from Brown University. His prior work experience includes marketing and communications for the Brown Arts Initiative and the Kenneth Rainin Foundation. Alex has also been involved with public-facing cultural activities at the Smithsonian Institution and the Oakland Museum of California.
