Alex Parker-Guerrero is the Morton L. Mandel Presidential Fellow. In this role, he contributes to strategic efforts to help raise the visibility and profile of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
Alex earned his undergraduate degree in American studies from Occidental College and recently earned a Master's in Public Humanities from Brown University. His prior work experience includes marketing and communications for the Brown Arts Initiative and the Kenneth Rainin Foundation. Alex has also been involved with public-facing cultural activities at the Smithsonian Institution and the Oakland Museum of California.
