Arthur L. Goldstein is the Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer Emeritus at Ionics Inc. During his 32 years as Chief Executive Officer, he led Ionics in its growth from a small R&D company to its position as the world leader in water desalination, purification and supply. He was trained as a chemical engineer and businessman. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and holds 18 U.S. patents. He also holds extensive board services such as director and trustee at, among others, Caltech, Partners HealthCare, Mass General Physicians Organization, Cabot, State Street, A123Systems, and Sun Catalytix.
