Researched transactive memory, showing how people use each other's memories to create information networks; researched action identification, explaining basic principles by which people come to understand the meaning of their own behaviors; researched ironic processes, explaining paradoxical consequences of thought suppression, and researched apparent mental causation, explaining why people sometimes mistakenly believe that they are the authors of their own actions.
