David B. Wong

David Wong is the Susan Fox Beischer and George D. Beischer Professor of Philosophy at Duke University. Before he came to Duke, he was the Harry Austryn Wolfson Professor of Philosophy at Brandeis University and the John M. Findlay Visiting Professor of Philosophy at Boston University.

Wong researches questions of morality on the personal and societal levels. In addition to numerous research publications, he has published multiple books, including Moral Relativity, Natural Moralities, Moral Relativism and Pluralism, and Metaphor and Analogy in Chinese Thought.

Wong received a B.A. from Macalester College and a Ph.D. from Princeton University.
