A native Washingtonian, David Bradley founded two of the region's most successful public research companies: The Advisory Board Company and the Corporate Executive Board. He transitioned to publishing with the purchase of the National Journal in 1997 and The Atlantic in 1999, and his vision and skillful leadership helped bring these historic publications to a successful, profitable, and widely respected position in the 21st century. His humility and generosity are evidenced by his philanthropic endeavors and board service, and by his quiet efforts to assist the families of kidnapped journalists.

Mr. Bradley is a graduate of Swarthmore College, Georgetown Law School and Harvard Business School.  He was a Fulbright Scholar in the Philippines.
