Professor of Physics. Physicist with contributions to theoretical condensed matter physics and statistical physics. Scope of work includes dynamics of spin glasses, vortices in superconductors, quantum magnetism and geometrically frustrated magnets, phase transitions, and (multi) critical points. Also engaged in the collaborative study of strong correlation effects in ultracold atomic Fermi gases. Theorist with a deep understanding of experiments, which enables his assimilation and interpretation of complex sets of information from multiple experiments.
