Her early work was centered on problems of determinism from Aristotle to late antiquity, its logical, physical, psychological and ethical underpinnings and consequences. She has produced a monograph and various articles in this area. In the last decade her research has focused on ethics, politics and their metaphysical presuppositions in late Plato. Some translations in English and German with commentaries and several articles have resulted from this research. Her current project is a book on Cosmology, Rationality and Politics in Plato's Timaeus. Questions of hermeneutics in the ancient and modern age have been a secondary interest throughout, most importantly in the philosophy of Heidegger.
