Key leader in the COBE team's discovery and anisotropy in the Cosmic Microwave Background, a Nobel-prize wining result. Member of the scientific teams for the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe, and the Spitzer Space Telescope, he is also the Principal Investigator on WISE, a NASA satellite to survey the infrared sky.
