Research has ranged over a variety of subjects, including foundations of applied geometry and topology, special logical concepts including conditionals, ordinary language generalizations, and probability logic, measurement, mathematical models in theories of voting, psychophysics, and the general theory of classification. Recent books on probability logic, and (with brother) archaeological typology. Books to appear are on physical surfaces and their superposition, and on approximate generalizations.
