Francesca Zambello

Francesca Zambello is an internationally recognized opera and theater director, having worked with many of the world's prestigious companies. In her current roles with Glimmerglass and Washington National Opera, she is responsible for producing 12 productions on two of America's most high-profile stages. Her dedication to commissioning and championing new work has created important opportunities for many American composers, librettists, and performers with the goal of reaching wider audiences for the art form. Her innovative and pioneering spirit will be a significant asset to the Academy.
