Since retirement, main interests lie in applying ideas from evolutionary biology to medical problems. First efforts were published with co-author, R.M. Nesse as The Dawn of Darwinian Medicine in the Quarterly Review of Biology, 66:1-22. The most recent is The Quest for Medical Normalcy: Who needs it? in the American Journal of Human Biology 12:10-16.
