Henry Ehrenreich

Research focuses on theoretical condensed matter physics, specializing at present in aspects of materials science, optoelectronics and thermal transport phenomena. He is also addressing public policy issues concerning alternative energy as well as the rapidly changing science, technology and educational questions confronting a multidisciplinary community. He was director of the Materials Research Laboratory at Harvard University, headed study groups onphotovoltaics and amorphous semicronductors, and has served the White House during the Carter and Bush administrations in varying capacities.
