Holly Case

Brown University

Holly Case is a professor of History at Brown University, specializing in the history of modern Europe. She is the author of two books and numerous academic and general-interest articles exploring politics, literature, diplomacy, science, war, and the history of ideas. 

Case teaches a course on the history of artificial intelligence and, in collaboration with a colleague in Computer Science, has launched an interdisciplinary reading group on AI that brings together scholars from across multiple fields, including Computer Science, History, Neuroscience, History of Art, Applied Math, Philosophy, Modern Culture and Media, and Data Science.
