Research focuses on problems of physiochemical hydrodynamics. He has solved problems and co-authored textbooks/cum monographs in the fields of Low Reynolds Number Hydrodynamics, Interfacial Transport Processes and Rheology, and Macrotransport Processes. His present work entails developing rigorous fluid-mechanical models useful in the characterization and separation of biological molecules.
