Jennifer Jones joined the Academy as a Civic Science Fellow in September 2026. Jones has a Ph.D. in Coastal Resources Management from East Carolina University and served as a Fulbright Scholar in Ireland from 2021–2023. She has contributed to research on theory, infrastructure, and governance of civic and citizen science as it relates to resource management, including the institutional conditions that make public participation in knowledge production both durable and equitable.
