Jodi Archambault

Advocate and artist Jodi Archambault (Hunkpapa and Oglala Lakota) founded ANPO, an Indigenous-led nonprofit organization that supports field-building, land restoration, rematriation, and policy work to restore and protect Indigenous Peoples’ generational connections with land, language, and culture. Her work with ANPO is guided by her love for Lakota and Dakota ways and her profound respect for other Native People's cultures and the global human experience.

Prior to founding ANPO, Archambault served in the federal government as the Special Assistant to the President for Native American Affairs for the White House Domestic Policy Council, Deputy Assistant Secretary to the Assistant-Secretary Indian Affairs at the Department of the Interior, and also as the White House Associate Director of Intergovernmental Affairs. She is also a former Bush Leadership Fellow and serves on the Board of Directors for the Bush Foundation.

She received her B.A. in Government from Dartmouth College and an M.P.A. from the University of Minnesota.
