Founding CEO of Silicon Compilers, a software company, and @Home, the first broadband cable Internet service. Formerly at Intel, joined in 1974 just as it developed the 8080 8-bit microprocessor. In 2006, Kleiner Perkins created the first green investment fund. Has become a strong investor and policy advocate for alternative energy, waste remediation, and other efforts to preserve the environment.
