Jun Ye

Jun Ye is a Professor Adjoint of Physics at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Jun Ye is a Fellow of JILA, a Fellow of NIST, a Member of the National Academy of Sciences, a Fellow of APS, and a Fellow of OPTICA. His research focuses on the development of new tools for light-matter interactions and their applications in precision measurement, quantum science, ultracold matter, and frequency metrology.

Ye has co-authored over 450 scientific papers and delivered over 750 invited talks. Among his awards and honors are five Gold Medals from the U.S. Commerce Department, Micius Quantum Prize, N.F. Ramsey Prize, I.I. Rabi Prize, I.I. Rabi Award, W.F. Meggers Award, and US Presidential Rank Award (Distinguished). He is a Foreign Member of Austrian Academy of Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Frew Fellow of Australian Academy of Science. His recent honors include Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics, Berthold Leibinger Future Prize, Niels Bohn Institute Medal of Honour, Herbert Walther Award.
