I am currently Professor at Arizona State University educating undergraduates in Sustainability and Health. I am also Professor at Chang Gung University and Hospital in Taiwan where I advise a group working on validating biomarkers for various diseases. Prior to that I was President and Director of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington. Prior to that I was professor of Genetics at the University of Washington.
