Marc Fleurbaey is Professor of Economics at the Paris School of Economics, and Research Director at the French National Centre for Scientific Research. He is the author of Fairness, Responsibility, and Welfare (2008), Beyond GDP: Measuring Welfare and Assessing Sustainability (with Didier Blanchet, 2013), and A Theory of Fairness and Social Welfare (with François Maniquet, 2011).
