Research on neural system underlying attention and its development in infants and children. His studies involve the use of neuroimaging and electrical recording to show the neural areas involved in selective attention and high level skills. He is using a mouse system to test theories about changes in white matter due to learning. He has also studied the rehabilitation of patients with brain injury and the training of children with specific deficits of attention.
