Nancy Beth Peretsman
Nancy Peretsman is a partner and Managing Director at Allen & Company LLC, a closely-held private investment bank. Over 35 years, she has served as an advisor to many of the world’s largest media, consumer internet and communications companies. Nancy’s early career at Salomon Brothers Inc. focused on traditional media companies, where she distinguished herself by innovative transactions foreseeing the future evolution of the cable, cellular and broadcast media businesses. Since joining Allen & Company LLC in 1995, Nancy has been at the forefront of the media and consumer internet banking business, including: representing Time Warner Cable in the merger with Charter Communications, Verizon’s purchase of AOL and subsequently of Yahoo, Ironman’s sale to Wanda Group, Walmart’s purchase of Jet.com, Chewy’s sale to PetSmart and the sale of the Washington Post to Jeff Bezos. Her extensive advisory practice includes a portfolio of assignments for many leading entrepreneurs of this generation, including Barry Diller and Bobby Kotick. She has provided strategic and capital raising advice to over one hundred high growth businesses, ranging from Magic Leap to Facebook, Google and Amazon. She was an original investor in Priceline, on whose board she continues to serve. Her interest in philanthropy led to the establishment of The Scully Peretsman Foundation. Nancy currently serves as a Trustee of The Institute for Advanced Study and as a Board member of Teach for America. She previously served on Princeton University’s Board of Trustees for 24 years. Nancy received an undergraduate degree with honors from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School in 1976 and earned an MBA from the Yale School of Management in 1979.
