                    Software architect with expertise in systems for computer-supported cooperative work. Engineered Lotus Symphony and created Lotus Notes. Founded Iris Associates (1984), Groove Networks (1997), and Talko Inc (2012), each of which delivered a different generation of productivity software enabling multiple users to work collaboratively.  From 2006-2010 also served as chief software architect of Microsoft, responsible for oversight of Microsoft's technical strategy and product architecture.  Currently CEO of Talko Inc.and serves on the board of directors of Hewlett-Packard and the Electronic Privacy Information Center.
