Richard W. Fisher
Richard W. Fisher is former CEO and President at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas from 2005 to 2015. He is a Senior Advisor to Barclays and member of the boards of directors of ATT and PepsiCo, as well as a member of the Board of Overseers of Harvard College. He previously served as Vice- Chairman of Kissinger McLarty (2001-2005), served as deputy U.S. trade representative with the rank of Ambassador (1997-2001) with responsibility for Asia, Latin America, and Canada and as chief operating officer of the U.S. government for NAFTA. Fisher had oversight responsibilities for bilateral trade issues in the Western hemisphere, the development of the Free Trade Area of the Americas, the U.S. Delegation of the Clinton-Hashimoto Initiative for the deregulation of the Japanese Economy, the U.S.-Singapore Free Trade Agreement and the Agreement in Principle with Vietnam. From 1987 to 1997, he was Managing Partner of Fisher Capital Management. Prior to 1997, he was Senior Manager of Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. Educated at U.S. Naval Academy, Harvard, Oxford, and Stanford Business School. Ph.D. (Hon) from Bryant University.
