Dr. Robert Badinter is the Senateur des Hauts de-Seine. Before the senate, Badinter was the Former President of the French Constitutional Court, former French Minister of Justice, and former professor of University of Paris. He is also the author of many books and articles, including "A European Constitution." Badinter is a leading campaigner against capital punishment and a visiting professor and lecturer at many U.S. law schools.
