Robie I. Samanta Roy

Robie I. Samanta Roy is Assistant Director for Space and Aeronautics in the Office of Science and Technology Policy, where he is responsible for a broad range of space and aeronautics-related activities ranging from human space flight to the Next Generation Air Transportation System. Previously he worked in the Congressional Budget Office, where he was the Strategic Analyst responsible for studies on military and civil space, missile defense, international relations, and other strategic forces issues. Prior to CBO, he was a Research Staff Member in the Systems Evaluation Division of the Institute for Defense Analyses, where he conducted studies related to command, control, communications and computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems.
