Developed the Diffusion Model of simple decision-making. This theory has become the gold standard of simple decision making models of processing. It elegantly explains key aspects of experimental data (accuracy, correct and error response times and their distributions). This ability has licensed use of the model in the fields of aging, human and animal neuroscience, and clinical applications. The diffusion model is now being used as the basis for many studies in various clinical, neuropsychological, and human and animal neuroscience domains.
