My research is focused on the development and understanding of new chemical reactions and processes. Practical applications of this work (by my research group and many others including those in industry) include the discovery or preparation of medicinally important substances, the preparation of new materials and the development of new techniques for the modification of biomolecules (e.g., modified proteins as well as antibody-drug conjugates).
