Thomas R. Insel is the Co-Founder and Executive Chair of Vanna Health, an organization focused on serving the needs of people with serious mental illness. He previously served as Director of the National Institute for Mental Health. He is the author of Healing: Our Path from Mental Illness to Mental Health (2022) and recently launched MindSite News, a nonprofit digital publication focused on mental health issues.
