Where Does American Democracy Go from Here?

This panel discussion will feature leaders in civic education, government innovation, law, and philanthropy sharing their thoughts on how to strengthen American democracy now. Each speaker contributed an essay to the recent Dædalus volume, “How Do We Renovate American Democracy at the 250th?”

The panelists will assess efforts underway to strengthen our political institutions, civic infrastructure, and civic culture. They will discuss what is working, where challenges persist, and what democratic renewal will require in the weeks, months, and years ahead.
